Home > Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions Last Updated: January 4, 2026 1. Acceptance of Terms Welcome to Pretectum. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Pretectum website, cloud-native SaaS Customer Master Data Management (cMDM) platform, APIs, documentation, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, company, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms. 2. Description of the Service Pretectum provides a cloud-native, zero-code SaaS cMDM platform designed to help organizations centralize, clean, govern, and synchronize customer, partner, and people master data. The Service includes schema modeling, automated deduplication, PII masking, data quality monitoring, consent tracking, and integration connectors via RESTful APIs and pre-built integrations (such as Snowflake, Salesforce, HubSpot, Amazon S3, and JDBC). 3. Account Registration and Security Account Creation: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and keep your account details updated. Credential Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the strict confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and multi-factor authentication tokens. Access Control: You are fully responsible for all activities, data transactions, and administrative actions that occur under your tenant organization and user accounts. 4. Subscription, Pricing, and Payment Terms Pretectum operates on a sliding-scale subscription model (including PRO, PLUS, and ELITE tiers) based on data volume, record counts, active users, and data variety. Billing & Renewals: Subscription fees are billed annually or monthly in advance as specified in your order form or pricing agreement. All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated herein. Free Trials & Evaluations: Pretectum may offer time-limited free evaluations or sandbox environments. We reserve the right to modify or terminate evaluation terms at any time without notice. Taxes: All fees are exclusive of applicable federal, state, local, or international taxes, which shall be the responsibility of the customer. 5. Customer Data Ownership and Privacy You retain all right, title, and interest in and to all master data, zero-party data, first-party data, schemas, and proprietary configurations uploaded, ingested, or processed through your Pretectum tenant (“Customer Data”). Pretectum processes Customer Data strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA where applicable). You represent that you have secured all necessary legal bases, notices, and consents to collect, process, and transfer Customer Data through the platform. 6. Acceptable Use Policy You agree not to misuse the Service or assist any third party in: Uploading or transmitting malicious code, malware, viruses, or harmful payloads. Attempting to bypass security controls, RBAC matrices, PII masking mechanisms, or tenant isolation boundaries. Engaging in unauthorized scraping, automated extraction, or load testing that disrupts platform stability. Processing data in violation of applicable privacy laws or contractual obligations. 7. Intellectual Property Rights All right, title, and interest in the Pretectum cMDM platform, underlying cloud architecture, user interfaces, algorithms, software code, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of Pretectum. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Pretectum grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service during your subscription term. 8. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pretectum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, revenue, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Pretectum’s total aggregate liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Pretectum in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident giving rise to liability. 9. Modifications to Terms and Service Pretectum reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time by publishing updated terms on our website. Continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also update, improve, or deprecate platform features as part of our continuous product evolution. 10.
