Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Edvise, Inc., doing business as Endex ("Endex," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website at endex.ai, our marketing and advertising activities, our event registrations, and other interactions you may have with us outside of a customer contractual relationship (collectively, the "Site").
Scope. This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you visit our Site, sign up for a demo or waitlist, attend our events, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with us as a prospective or current contact. This Privacy Policy does not govern how we process data on behalf of our enterprise customers through our products and services, except as set forth in the “Google Workspace Data” section below. Customer data processing is governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement, Data Processing Agreement, or other written agreement between Endex and the customer (collectively, "Customer Agreements"). If you are an end user of our products through your employer, please refer to your employer's privacy notice and the applicable Customer Agreement for information about how your data is handled within the Endex platform.

Investor Information. If you are a shareholder or investor, we collect information related to your investment, including share purchasing history, number and value of shares held, and holder-of-record details, to manage investor relations, process transactions, prepare tax documents, and maintain our cap table.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:
Device and Browser Information. Device type, operating system, browser type, screen resolution, and unique device identifiers.
Network Information. IP address, Internet service provider, and approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.
Usage Information. Pages visited, links clicked, referring and exit URLs, date and time of visits, time spent on pages, and other browsing behavior on the Site.
Interaction Data. We use analytics tools that may record how you interact with the Site, including clicks, scrolling behavior, and page navigation patterns, to help us understand how visitors use and experience the Site and to identify areas for improvement.
Visitor Identification. We use third-party visitor identification services that may identify individual visitors to the Site, and we may use that information to contact you about Endex. You can opt out at any time through the cookie preference center, and we do not apply these services to browsers sending a Global Privacy Control signal. These services apply only to visitors in the United States, and where applicable law requires consent before non-essential cookies are set, they operate only after you have given it. Information about visits to the Site is also contributed to these providers’ identification networks and may be used to identify visitors for their other customers.
We collect this information through cookies, pixels, web beacons, log files, and similar technologies. See the "Cookies and Tracking Technologies" section below for more detail.
Information We Receive from Third Parties
Single Sign-On Providers. If you log into any Endex web portal using a third-party authentication service (e.g., Google or Microsoft), we receive authentication tokens and basic profile information (such as your name and email address) to verify your identity and provide access.
Social Media Platforms. When you interact with us on social media (e.g., by following our LinkedIn page), we may receive profile information you have made publicly available.
Business Partners and Referrals. We may receive your contact information from a business partner, referral source, or your employer in connection with evaluating or onboarding our services.
Data Enrichment Providers. We may supplement contact information we already hold with additional professional information (such as company size or industry) from third-party data providers to improve the relevance of our outreach.
Advertising Partners. Our advertising partners may provide us with information about your interactions with our ads on third-party platforms.
How We Use Personal Information
The uses described in this section apply to Site data only and do not apply to Google Workspace Data, which is used solely as described in the “Google Workspace Data” section below. We use the personal information described above for the following purposes:

Where applicable law requires consent before such cookies are set, including for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, they are set only after you consent. You can also manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance or the Network Advertising Initiative.
Global Privacy Control. We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar universal opt-out preference signals, and we process them in a frictionless manner. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser, as required by applicable law. We also do not apply visitor identification services to that browser.
How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. The sharing described in this section applies to Site data only; Endex does not share Google Workspace Data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) Statement
Endex complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Endex has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Endex has also certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. To learn more about the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/.
Access. In accordance with the DPF Access Principle, individuals in the European Union, the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar), and Switzerland have the right to access personal data about them that Endex holds and to correct, amend, or delete such personal data where it is inaccurate or has been processed in violation of the DPF Principles. To exercise these rights, please contact Endex at [email protected]. Endex will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Access, correction, amendment, or deletion may be limited in certain circumstances as permitted under the DPF Principles, including where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the individual’s privacy, or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.
Choice. Where Endex intends to (i) disclose personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, or the Swiss-U.S. DPF to a third party (other than an agent acting on Endex’s behalf under a written contract requiring protection consistent with the DPF Principles), or (ii) use such personal data for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual, Endex will offer individuals the opportunity to opt out. To exercise this choice, individuals may contact Endex at [email protected].

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Endex commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of your personal information. EU, UK, and Swiss individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF should first contact Endex at: [email protected].
Independent Recourse Mechanism. In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF, Endex commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please visit https://www.jamsadr.com/dpf-dispute-resolution for more information or to file a complaint. The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you.
Arbitration. For complaints regarding DPF compliance not resolved by any of the other DPF mechanisms, you have the possibility, under certain conditions, to invoke binding arbitration. Further information can be found on the official DPF website: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/article/ANNEX-I-introduction-dpf.
Regulatory Authority. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Endex's compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF. Endex is also liable in cases of onward transfers to third parties.
Standard Contractual Clauses
For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area ("EEA") and the United Kingdom ("UK") not covered by our DPF certification, and as a supplemental safeguard, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, as applicable) to provide appropriate safeguards for the transfer of personal data to the United States.

Google Workspace Data
Scope of This Section. This section describes how the Endex platform accesses, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information from a user’s Google account (“Google Workspace Data”) when that user connects Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides to Endex. It applies in addition to, and does not replace, the applicable Customer Agreement. The collection, advertising, marketing, analytics, data-sharing, and retention practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy apply solely to Site data and do not apply to Google Workspace Data. Endex processes Google Workspace Data on behalf of its enterprise customers; where an individual wishes to exercise rights in respect of that data, Endex will refer the request to the relevant customer as controller.
Data We Access. Endex accesses Google Workspace Data only with your consent, and only as needed to deliver the features you have chosen to use. Endex requests the following Google OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify — Read your messages and threads to surface email relevant to your work, and label, archive, draft, or send messages when you ask Endex to.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly — Search the Drive and shared drives you can access to find documents relevant to the work in progress.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — Create files in your Drive when you ask Endex to save its output, and read and update the files it has created.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly — List the calendars available to you so you can choose which one Endex works with.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events — Read your events for context on meetings and timing, and create, update, or delete events when you ask Endex to.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documents — Create, read, and update Google Docs you ask Endex to work with, including files held on shared drives.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets — Create, read, and update Google Sheets you ask Endex to work with, including models held on shared drives.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/presentations — Create, read, and update Google Slides you ask Endex to work with, including decks held on shared drives.
How We Use Google Workspace Data. Endex uses Google Workspace Data solely to provide and improve features that are visible and prominent in the Endex user interface and that the user has invoked. These uses fall within Google’s approved use cases for Gmail scopes (applications that enhance the email experience for productivity purposes, including generative AI summaries, and applications that use information from emails to provide reporting for the benefit of users), for Google Drive scopes (productivity applications that handle Drive files through the application’s user interface), and for Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides scopes (productivity applications that create, read, and edit a user’s Workspace content at that user’s direction). Endex does not use Google Workspace Data for any secondary purpose.
Actions We Take on Your Behalf. Endex acts in your Google account only at your direction, and only to carry out work you have asked it to do. Depending on the features you use, Endex can read, label, archive, and move messages to trash in Gmail, and compose, save, and send messages on your behalf; create, read, and update files in your Drive; create, update, and delete events on your calendar; and create, read, and update Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, including files held on shared drives. Endex cannot permanently delete Gmail messages or threads, which requires a level of access Endex does not request.
Restrictions on Use. Endex does not:
transfer or sell Google Workspace Data to third parties such as advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers;
transfer, sell, or use Google Workspace Data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising;
transfer, sell, or use Google Workspace Data to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes; or
transfer, sell, or use Google Workspace Data, whether raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived, to create, train, or improve any machine learning or artificial intelligence model.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Endex transmits Google Workspace Data to third-party model providers solely to generate output for features the user has invoked in the Endex interface. Endex maintains enterprise agreements with each of these providers that include zero data retention terms: submitted content is not retained by the provider after the response is returned, and is not used by the provider to train or improve any model. Endex does not use Google Workspace Data to train or improve any model, or store it in conjunction with any such model. Endex routes model requests through Cloudflare AI Gateway, which forwards them to those providers. Request and response logging and response caching are disabled for requests containing Google Workspace Data, and the gateway does not retain that content. These provider zero data retention terms apply to every endpoint through which Endex transmits Google Workspace Data. Endex’s own retention and deletion of Google Workspace Data is described below.
Human Access. Endex does not permit any person to read Google Workspace Data except where: the user has given documented, explicit consent to view specific messages, files, or other data; the data has been aggregated and anonymized and is used for internal operations in accordance with applicable law; access is necessary for security purposes, such as investigating a bug or suspected abuse; or access is necessary to comply with applicable law. Endex requires its employees, agents, contractors, and successors to comply with these restrictions.
Sharing and Transfers. Endex does not transfer Google Workspace Data except: to provide or improve the user-facing features described above, and only with the user’s consent; for security purposes; to comply with applicable laws or regulations; or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, after obtaining the user’s explicit prior consent. Service providers that process Google Workspace Data on Endex’s behalf are bound by contractual terms no less protective than those set out in this section.
Security. Endex uses industry-standard encryption to protect Google Workspace Data in transit and at rest, including encrypted storage of OAuth tokens through its integration provider. Encryption keys are managed through AWS KMS or provider-managed key management systems. Endex maintains controls designed to mitigate prompt injection risks, including instruction safeguards and detection and monitoring.
Retention and Deletion. Endex does not maintain a separate index or searchable copy of your Google Workspace content. Where content from a connected Google service is used to carry out a task you have asked Endex to perform, that content is retained as part of the record of that task, in the same way as other material you provide to Endex. It is stored on cloud infrastructure operated by Endex’s infrastructure providers under written contract and located in the United States, and is retained and deleted in accordance with the applicable Customer Agreement. Disconnecting your Google account revokes Endex’s access and stops any further content being retrieved; it does not by itself delete content already used in completed work. To request deletion of that content, contact [email protected] or your account administrator.
Your Controls. You can disconnect your Google account from Endex at any time within the Endex application, and you can also revoke Endex’s access directly through Google at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Instructions for managing and deleting the Google Workspace content Endex holds are available at https://endex.ai/help/google-data.
Limited Use. Endex’s use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes to This Section. If Endex changes the way it uses Google Workspace Data, or seeks access to a type of Google Workspace Data not described in this section, Endex will update this Privacy Policy and prompt affected users to consent before making that change.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where required by law, notify you by email or prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated Privacy Policy.
