Since 1996, our solutions have been trusted by leading universities, global corporations, and government agencies that rely on Symplicity systems to manage critical programs and services. Our platforms, including CareerHub, Orbis, and Contratanet, operate in environments where security, reliability, and regulatory compliance are essential. Symplicity works with highly regulated organizations, including institutions operating under United States federal contracts, state regulatory frameworks such as TX-RAMP, and public procurement programs including New York State OGS. Our corporate offerings are also used by many Fortune 500 organizations to support talent development, workforce engagement, and recruitment initiatives. The Security Center is part of the broader Symplicity Compliance Center and provides transparency into how Symplicity protects systems and data across our platform ecosystem. Here you will find information about our security governance practices, technical safeguards, compliance programs, and operational controls that support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our services. Security Frameworks Symplicity’s security program is aligned with recognized industry standards and verified through independent audits and certifications. Our Security Frameworks page provides an overview of the frameworks that guide our security program, including certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, as well as frameworks commonly used in regulated sectors such as NIST-based programs supporting government requirements like TX-RAMP. Each framework listed on the Security Frameworks page includes additional details and links to supporting documentation where available. Security Controls The Security Controls page provides a high-level overview of the safeguards implemented across Symplicity systems. These controls address areas such as identity and access management, network security, vulnerability management, encryption, incident response, and operational monitoring. Where appropriate, controls listed on this page link to supporting policies and documentation available through the Symplicity Trust Portal. Symplicity Security Trust Portal | Client Security Reviews Symplicity's Trust Portals contain materials commonly requested by customer security teams, procurement reviewers, and auditors, including security policies, compliance documentation, and supporting governance artifacts. For visitors looking for this type of security documentation, the Symplicity Trust & Compliance Gateway within the Security Center is the best place to start and links to both the Security Center Trust Portal and the Privacy Center Trust Portal. Adding a bookmark to the Symplicity Trust & Compliance Gateway will allow you to easily revisit all of the resources available in the shortest amount of time when returning for additional review. The documents are also available for download directly from the Security Center Trust Portal, which also provides more information on what's included as supporting documentation for HECVATs and other commonly required documentation. Security Center Updates Security programs must continuously evolve to address new technologies, threats, and regulatory requirements. The Security Center Trust Portal now hosts the latest updates and provides announcements and postings related to security improvements, compliance milestones, certification updates, and other developments within Symplicity’s security program. These updates help ensure customers and stakeholders remain informed about ongoing improvements to the security posture of Symplicity platforms including CareerHub, Orbis, and Contratanet. Privacy While the Security Center focuses on system security and compliance, the Symplicity Privacy Center includes dedicated resources in about how Symplicity collects, processes, and protects personal data is available through the Privacy Center and Privacy Portal. These resources provide information about privacy practices, regulatory compliance, and data subject rights. Accessibility Symplicity also maintains dedicated Accessibility pages describing our accessibility commitments and platform accessibility practices. Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) are available through both the Security Center and the Privacy Center for organizations that require accessibility documentation.
