PRIVACY STATEMENT OVERVIEW
Liquidware respects the privacy of our customers, business partners and other visitors to our websites. We recognize the need for appropriate protections and management of your personal information that you provide to us. Liquidware has therefore established this Privacy Statement to assist you to understand what personal information we collect and how that personal information is used. Furthermore, this Privacy Statement describes how you can obtain information about your data collected and processed by and how you can request correction or deletion of your data. This Privacy Statement applies to data collected by Liquidware Labs, Inc. through its websites, including liquidwarelabs.com, liquidware.com, blog.liquidware.com, VDI.com and blog.liquidware.com/XPocalypse2014.com.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
On Liquidware website properties, visitors/customers can order products or services, register products, request information, subscribe to marketing or support materials, register to a secure extranet site to obtain access to product information, support, beta programs, services and training, or apply for jobs at Liquidware. To provide such services, Liquidware may collect information about individuals such as their name, address, telephone number or email address, user IDs and passwords, billing and transaction information, credit card or other financial information and contact preferences. Personal information collected online may be supplemented with information you provide to Liquidware through other Liquidware services, as well as other sources including, but not limited to, trade shows or seminars, and other data appending methods such as spot tags, tracking and cookies as referenced below.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Liquidware will use personal information to provide customers, business partners, website visitors and job seekers with information and services and to help us better understand your needs and interests. Specifically, we use your information to complete transactions or orders, to communicate with you regarding such transactions or orders, to deliver products/services to you, to bill you or an entity on whose behalf you act for products/services you purchased, to provide ongoing service and support and to conduct our recruitment process.
We may also transfer your personal data to a third party, such as a channel partner. Furthermore, we may use your information to contact you for personalized marketing and quality assurance purposes, including but not limited to providing our newsletter and other marketing materials.
SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
Liquidware contracts with third party service providers and suppliers (including distributors and resellers) to deliver certain products, services and customer solutions. Liquidware may share personal information with its service providers, suppliers or within the group of affiliated companies of Liquidware to the extent needed to deliver the service or respond to requests for information on products or services or otherwise support the customers' business needs. Third party service providers and suppliers receiving personal information are obliged to apply the same level of privacy protection as contained in this Privacy Statement. They are required to keep confidential the personal data received from Liquidware and may not use it for any purpose other than as for providing the services to or on behalf of Liquidware.
Some Liquidware services may be co-branded and offered in conjunction with another company. If you register for or use such services, both Liquidware and the other company may receive information collected in conjunction with the co-branded services. We will inform customers using such co-branded services about the data protection procedures of other companies involved.
Except as described in this Privacy Statement, Liquidware will not sell and will not share your personal data with other third parties, unless required by, or in connection with, law enforcement action, subpoena or other litigation, or applicable law or in connection with a prospective or actual sale, merger, transfer or other reorganization of all or parts of our business, or within the group of affiliated Liquidware companies, if and to the extent legally permissible.

Any information that is disclosed in these forums becomes public information which could be read, collected or used by other users to send you unsolicited messages. Liquidware is not responsible for the personal data information you choose to submit in these forums. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal data.

USE OF COOKIES AND ANALYTIC TOOLS
Liquidware uses cookies and third-party tools in order to ensure safer use and analysis of user behavior on some of its websites. Liquidware uses some cookies that are strictly necessary for the delivery of services on our website. Liquidware collects and/or logs Internet Protocol addresses, Internet domain names, the web browser and operating system used to access the Liquidware website, the website visitor’s location, the files visited, the time spent in each file, and the time and date of each visit. The information logged is stored with your user account information which contains personal data.
RETENTION PERIOD
We will not retain personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed. Your personal data will be deleted, insofar as this does not contradict statutory archiving requirements, including the security of our processing complying with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. audit, accounting and statutory retention terms), handling disputes, and for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims in the countries where we do business.

Your security on our time
Your security is important to us at Liquidware.
Liquidware maintains compliance with SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, CSA STAR Level One, and PCI DSS across our solutions and business practices. This helps to ensure organizations meet rigorous security and operational standards in modern digital workspaces.
Liquidware maintains a robust security framework encompassing physical security, monitoring controls, personnel security, and risk management. The company operates globally with a 24/7 approach to improving security practices. Liquidware's security policies include multiple backup systems for physical locations and a yearly external penetration test to ensure system integrity. Monitoring systems are in place for identity and access management, threat protection, and security alerts. Change management tracks major updates to infrastructure, while employees undergo regular security training, background checks, and sign confidentiality agreements. Data backup procedures are reviewed annually. Liquidware's risk management includes regular reviews, reports, and security exercises to mitigate both internal and external threats.

Physical Security and Environmental Controls
Liquidware is headquartered in Palatine, Illinois, and operates local offices in Alpharetta, Georgia, Switzerland, Australia, and the Netherlands. The company utilizes a flexible remote work model that leverages both our collaborative office locations and the ability to take advantage of top talent. A global team allows us to utilize a 24/7, 365-day approach to continual improvement of our security practices, aligning them with most effective, best-practice, proven security approaches. Our security practices extend across our users, operations, and product development functions.
We have multiple backup systems and policies in place to continue operation fully regardless of the loss of any given physical location.
Monitoring Controls
Liquidware leverages an integrated Security Stack including identity and access management, threat protection, information protection, and security management. We leverage Conditional Access to limit the countries/regions that can access our systems and resources. User access to files and systems, are consistently monitored to validate normal operation. Our systems are designed to alert us instantly to any suspicious or abnormal access or behavior of users. We use Identity Management to track access of all accounts and to validate that behavior and access line up with the appropriate granted permissions.
Liquidware completes a full external Penetration Test yearly to validate the healthy security posture of our current technologies and processes. We manage, communicate and track all of our internal IT ticket issues, creating a reliable, auditable service and request system. Additionally, we use multiple products to track any file/user issues that are outside normal operation. These issues are analyzed to determine their severity. This data then enters and updates our reporting systems and continues to establish triggers and alerts for different security events. This security log is continually monitored, and push notifications are sent to the Information Technology team, notifying them of critical or high alert security events.
Change Management
Liquidware keeps a current log of all major system changes and updates to Liquidware infrastructure and software. The approver and implementer roles and identity are tracked along with the results of the update or system change. This information can be found in our Change Control document located in our Compliance site.
Personnel Security
All Liquidware employees must complete yearly security training classes along with additional security classes to be completed if any security tests are failed. All Liquidware employees have a background check completed on them before they are accepted for employment at the company. Liquidware has all employees sign NDA, Non-Competes, and agree to all company policies before they begin working at Liquidware. We also provide whistleblower protection and reporting with a whistleblower email: [email protected] or anonymous form that is directed to the Liquidware Compliance Team.
Data Backup and Recovery
Liquidware has a dedicated data backup and recovery procedure that is evaluated yearly to validate that operation and recovery times meet best-practice SLAs.
Risk Management Responsibilities;
Liquidware continuously manages and reviews the risks associated with the company’s operations. A report is generated and submitted yearly, which provides an overview of our adaptations to current risks and potential future challenges. We review the suggested remediation steps, complete the outlined tasks, and log them in our Change Control Logs and our ticketing system. We also complete yearly security tabletop exercises to validate our procedures and safeguards. Comprehensive notes of the results of the exercises are recorded and reviewed in postmortem activities. This information is utilized to optimize security systems and procedures on an ongoing basis.
Risk Management Program Activities
Liquidware monitors internal risks along with external risks. We continually review, scan, and update our systems related to any new security releases related to a CVE from any of the vendors of products that are used by the company. We monitor user access depending on location and sign in times and restrict access based on unusual behavior or timing. Our Security team has processes in place to constantly and proactively scan for potential malicious acts, which are then analyzed to determine appropriate preventative measures to be implemented.

At Liquidware, the security and privacy of our systems, products, and customers are of paramount importance. We recognize the essential role the security community plays in identifying vulnerabilities that may have gone unnoticed and appreciate your efforts in helping us improve.

Our Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) provides a clear channel for security researchers, customers, and stakeholders to responsibly disclose vulnerabilities they may discover within Liquidware’s systems or products. By working together, we aim to enhance our security posture and deliver a safer experience for all users.

Any use of the Software is subject to the terms of the applicable end-user or open source license agreement.
All evaluation software is provided “AS IS” for evaluation and internal use only. You may not use evaluation Software for commercial, development or production purposes. In addition, evaluation Software may be time-disabled and may cease to operate after a period of time.

The Liquidware Marks are highly valued intellectual property, and therefore Liquidware will take the necessary steps to guard against dilution and the use of third-party marks which are confusingly similar to Liquidware Marks or which are likely to cause confusion with Liquidware Marks.
Liquidware Marketing is the only authorized department at Liquidware to approve use of Liquidware branded assets. No employee or other representative of Liquidware Labs is authorized to grant permission to use Liquidware Marks or to provide guidance in their use. Thus, any promise or other representation with respect to Liquidware Marks by a Liquidware employee in the absence of a formal written agreement from Liquidware Global Marketing cannot be relied upon.
Linking To Liquidware Websites
Linking to the Liquidware Websites by Strategic Alliance partners, Accele8 partners or other Liquidware Labs channel partners is pre-approved, provided there is a current signed contract and the partner is in good standing. Any other links from other agencies must be approved in writing by Liquidware VP of Global Marketing.

Liquidware protects its technology vigilantly and permits others to use it by virtue of license agreements.
