In rare cases where support is needed, our team may access your account, but only with your consent or when urgent action is required to keep things running smoothly. Passwords are encrypted using strong one-way hashing. We use secure tokens for logins, and our entire infrastructure is cloud-based for maximum flexibility and protection. We also regularly maintain our servers and use real-time monitoring to detect and fix any vulnerabilities quickly. Data storage Archie’s databases are hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), in data centers that meet top certifications. While our application servers are based in Canada, users can securely access Archie from anywhere. Static content (like profile pictures and page styles) is delivered through a global CDN, but your sensitive data always stays safe and untouched. Data is backed up every 6 hours and stored securely off-site in GCP facilities. These backups are retained for one year, after which the data is permanently destroyed. Access to these backups is strictly controlled and monitored. Reliable, always-on access We know how important uptime is — that's why we aim for 99.9% availability. Tools like Sentry and GCM help us monitor our systems 24/7. Our team reviews all updates and thoroughly tests them before going live.
