Privacy Policy of DemandSense
1. Introduction
‍DemandSense ("DemandSense," "We," or "Us"), a product of Xperra, LLC, is committed to safeguarding your privacy in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other relevant privacy laws. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data, including data from connected third-party sources and website visitor data, through our advertising analytics platform and through any interfaces we make available for accessing it, including integrations with third-party AI assistants. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Data
We collect the following personal data shared during subscription and account setup:
What we save: Contact information, including the name and email of your designated contact person(s), company details, and subscription-related information.
What we don’t save: Payment details, such as credit card information.
2.2 Connected Platform Data
We process data from the advertising and customer relationship management platforms you connect to your account to deliver and improve our services, including reporting and analytics:
What we save: Campaign, performance and spend data from connected advertising platforms, contact, company and sales records from connected CRM platforms. Votes, schedules, budget settings, and campaign actions you take within our platform (e.g., linking to campaign groups).
What we don’t save: Custom audience data, to which we do not have access.
2.3 Website Visitor Data
To improve analytics, we collect visitor data from your websites:
What we save:
- Session details, cookies, device and browser information, operating system details, IP addresses.
- If subscribed to our website visitor identification service we save and deliver your first party data to you, including identified company details and the individual's professional details.
What we don’t save:
- Custom audience data, as we do not have access to this data.
The visitor data described above can identify a specific individual, and is therefore personal data. Some of it is obtained from third-party data providers rather than directly from the individual. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing business analytics to our clients, and it is not processed in anonymized or aggregated form. Individuals may object to this processing or request deletion of their data using the contact details in this policy.
2.4 Google Tag Manager Data
If you choose to install the DemandSense Webid pixel through Google Tag Manager, we request access to your Google Tag Manager account via Google OAuth 2.0 — a secure sign-in method that doesn't share your password with us — to automate the setup.
What we save:
- OAuth tokens (stored in encrypted form) needed to maintain the connection, and a record of the container you selected and the pixel we installed.
What we access but don't store:
- The list of Tag Manager accounts and containers available to you (so you can select the correct one), and the existing tags in the selected container (only to check whether the Webid pixel is already installed).
What we don't do:
- We do not read, modify, or delete any other tags, triggers, variables, versions, accounts, or user permissions, and we do not use this access for any purpose other than installing and confirming the Webid pixel at your request. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting Google Tag Manager within DemandSense.
DemandSense's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
2.5 Access Through AI Assistants
We offer functionality that allows the data in your account to be queried through third-party AI assistants. This functionality is optional and is only available after you sign in with your own credentials.
When you use it, the questions you ask and the data returned in response are processed by the AI provider you have chosen, under that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control how those providers process this information, and we recommend reviewing their policies before connecting.
If you connect meeting recordings, transcripts, or other documents to help the assistant answer your questions, we'll process that content — including the names of anyone mentioned in it — and may show it back to you through the assistant's response.
What we save:
- Authentication records and connection details required to keep the integration working, and technical logs of requests made through it, including which functions were called, the parameters used, and the text of your question as submitted through the assistant. These logs are retained for 90 days.
What we don’t save:
- The AI assistant's response to you, or the surrounding conversation, which takes place within the AI provider's own service.
