We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting personally identifiable information you may provide us through the Website. We have adopted this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") to explain what information may be collected on our Website, how we use this information, and under what circumstances we may disclose the information to third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the Website and does not apply to our collection of information from other sources.
This Privacy Policy, together with the Terms and conditions posted on our Website, set forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our Website. Depending on your activities when visiting our Website, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, The SaaSy People Ltd. collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The SaaSy People Ltd.'s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how The SaaSy People Ltd.'s visitors use its website. From time to time, The SaaSy People Ltd. may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
The SaaSy People Ltd. also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on https://thesaasypeople.com blog posts. The SaaSy People Ltd. only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to The SaaSy People Ltd.'s websites choose to interact with The SaaSy People Ltd. in ways that require The SaaSy People Ltd. to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that The SaaSy People Ltd. gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who open a live chat with us to provide their business name, name and email address.
We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Marketing Communications
When you submit your details through this website, including contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, content downloads and our online calculators, we may contact you about your enquiry and about the services it relates to. This is how we follow up business enquiries, and the legal basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who have shown an interest in our services (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).
At the point you submit your details you can also choose to opt in to our wider marketing communications, such as industry insights, product updates and event invitations. If you do not opt in, we will not add you to those lists. The legal basis for these communications is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR).
You can ask us to stop at any time. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can contact us at [email protected] to opt out of any contact. Opting out will not affect service-related communications if you are an existing customer.
Before making a marketing telephone call we screen the number against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service.
We retain your marketing data for as long as you remain subscribed, and for a reasonable period after you unsubscribe so that we can record your preference and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where we use third-party platforms, such as CRM, email marketing or advertising tools, to deliver marketing communications, those providers process your data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
Online Calculators and Interactive Tools
Some of our pages include interactive tools, which ask questions about your business so we can show you a result.
When you use one of these tools we record the answers you give. This may include information such as your recurring revenue, your customer churn rate, how much of your customer book is currently managed, and the salary bands you select. We record your answers as you move through the tool, even if you do not go on to give us your contact details. At that point the record is not linked to you by name.
If you choose to give us your name, email address and, optionally, your telephone number in order to see the detailed workings, we link those details to the answers you have already given.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to understand how our tools are used, and to improve them. The legal basis is our legitimate interests in understanding demand for our services and following up business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Where you have opted in to marketing, we will also use your contact details for that purpose, as set out above.
We keep this information for 12 months from your last interaction, after which it is deleted.
Live Messaging (Chat)
We use Intercom to provide live chat on our website and applications. Where you have given us your details through one of our tools, we pass your name, email address and any other information you provide to Intercom so that our team can see who they are speaking to. Intercom processes this information on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
Intercom sets cookies on your device. These load only where you have accepted them.
We keep information held in Intercom for the same period as the details you gave us, set out in the section on online calculators above.

Our Service may contain links to external sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy and terms and conditions of every site you visit.
