Privacy Policy for SellerSheet
Your Data, Your Rules: At SellerSheet, we believe your information is yours. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
Introduction
At SellerSheet ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect, how we use and safeguard it, and your rights when using our services.
Unless otherwise stated or linked to a different policy, this Privacy Policy applies when you use the SellerSheet website, Google Sheets add-on, web app, APIs, MCP server and AI plugins, or any related services ("Services").
By accessing the Site or using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with this policy or any other agreement governing your use of the Services, please refrain from using them.
Information We Collect
1. Data Synced From Amazon and noon
When you connect an Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising or noon account, we retrieve and store the data needed to provide the Services. This may include:
Orders, listings, inventory, shipments, reports, settlements and fees.
Advertising campaigns and performance data, and buyer insight data such as review topics and return reasons.
Limited buyer information contained in order data, such as ship-to city and postal code.
We handle Amazon data in line with Amazon's Data Protection Policy.
2. Google Account Information
To enable Google Sheets and Drive integration, we collect:
Your Google account information (email address, profile name, and unique user ID) when you authorize our app.
Access to your SellerSheet folder and to any file you choose to share with us (see Google Sheets and Drive).
3. Usage Information
We collect information about your interactions with our Services, such as:
Pages you visit, features you use, timestamps of activity, and usage patterns.
Device details, including browser type, operating system, and IP address.
4. Account Information
When you sign in with google account, we collect:
Your name, email address and unique user ID. We never receive your Google password.
Any specific SellerSheet settings you configure within your account.
5. Billing Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing details such as:
Credit card information, which is processed securely by a third-party PCI-compliant provider.
Transaction history and subscription details.
6. Communications and Support
If you contact us, we may collect:
Your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Additional data such as your location, device type, and IP address for troubleshooting.
7. AI Clients and the SellerSheet MCP Server
SellerSheet offers a hosted MCP server and skill plugins for AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT/Codex and CodeBuddy. You connect an AI client by signing in with OAuth or by creating an API key, and you can revoke either at any time under Dashboard → MCP & API keys.
What we receive: only the inputs of the tool your AI client calls, such as a store reference, SKU list, sheet range or image instruction. We do not receive or read your conversation history, memory or files from your AI client, except content you choose to pass to a tool.
What we return: the tool result goes to the AI client you connected. Once returned, the AI provider's own privacy policy governs that data.
The plugin contains instructions and a small local script. It sends data only to the SellerSheet MCP server and does not read credentials from your device.
Tokens and API keys are stored securely on our servers and deleted when you revoke them or close your account.
8. Content You Create With AI Features
When you use AI features such as image generation, listing copy or buyer insights, we process your instructions, reference images and product data to produce the result, and store the images and content you save. You own the content you generate and are responsible for reviewing it before publishing it to Amazon or elsewhere. Images that depict AI-generated people are tagged as synthetic in their metadata.
How We Collect Data
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
Understand user interactions with our Site and Services.
Customize user experiences and improve our offerings.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Sync Data: Enable data transfer between Amazon, noon, Google Sheets, Google Drive and the AI clients you connect.
Provide AI Features: Generate the images, listing copy and insights you request.
Improve Services: Analyze usage patterns and gather feedback to enhance user experiences.
Process Payments: Facilitate subscription payments and ensure secure transactions.
Communicate With You: Send transactional emails, support updates, and important notifications.
Ensure Security: Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and other malicious activities.
Data Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Services, and only as needed for that purpose:
Amazon (Selling Partner API, Advertising API) and noon: to act on your accounts at your request.
Google (Sheets, Drive and Docs APIs): to read and write the files you choose.
Third-party AI model providers: to generate the images, listing copy and insights you request.
Cloud hosting, database and content delivery providers: to store data and serve generated images.
Stripe: to process payments.
Analytics, email and support tools: to understand site usage and communicate with you.
We also share data when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or with your explicit consent.
We do not sell your data. SellerSheet does not use your data to train AI models.
Google Sheets and Drive
When you set up SellerSheet, the add-on creates a SellerSheet folder in your Google Drive, and you share that folder with [email protected]. Our servers (including the MCP server used by AI clients) can access only that folder and any other file you choose to share with that address. They cannot see the rest of your Drive. You can remove access at any time by un-sharing the folder in Google Drive; SellerSheet features that write to your sheets will stop working until it is shared again.
The Google Sheets add-on itself runs inside your Google account and works on the spreadsheet you have open and on files it created.
SellerSheet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Content from your sheets is sent to an AI client you connected only when you ask that client to read it.
Data Retention
We keep your account data, synced marketplace data and saved content while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected], and we will delete it unless we are required by law to keep it. A free account with no activity for twelve (12) months may be deleted together with its data; accounts with an active subscription or a remaining credit balance are not deleted for inactivity. Temporary files, such as uploaded reference images and unsaved drafts, are deleted automatically.
Data Protection
We implement robust measures to safeguard your data:
SSL encryption for data transfer.
Secure storage practices for sensitive information.
Periodic security reviews and updates.
Security Notice: While we strive to protect your data, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to maintain strong passwords and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
Access and Update: Log into your account to review and update your personal information.
Terminate Account: Cancel your account via the settings page or by contacting [email protected].
Delete Your Data: Email [email protected] to have your account and data deleted.
Disconnect AI Clients: Revoke OAuth sessions and API keys under Dashboard → MCP & API keys.
