Privacy Policy Jitbit values the privacy of those who visit the Jitbit.com website and uses it's hosted services (Jitbit Helpdesk and others). If you are our customer, you will be notified about any major changes we make to the privacy policy. Types of information we collect on the website We don't collect any information unless you fill a form (like a "contact us" or "buy" form) Even when you do - we DO NOT store any information about your credit cards and billing addresses, all payments, including recurring subscriptions, are handled by our payment provider (Fastspring). In case you have any questions, refer to their privacy policy. Cookies: our website does not use Cookies! But some of our third-party services do (like, analytics). And only (!) if you click "agree" on the Cookie-consent banner. Types of information we collect in the SaaS helpdesk product We only collect and store information you or your customers provide voluntarily, using our hosted services (like tickets submitted to the helpdesk), storing this type of information is required for correct functioning of the services. We may access this information, but only with your permission (for example, when we need it to fix a bug). Logs: we collect anonymous web-access logs to improve the quality of our services. This information is NOT personally-identifiable. Chat integrations (Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp): if your helpdesk administrator connects one of our chat apps, we receive only what's needed to link your chat account to your helpdesk account and to deliver tickets: your profile name and email address (used solely to match you to your helpdesk user), workspace/channel identifiers, and the messages you direct at our bot (direct messages, @-mentions, and replies in the bot's own ticket threads). We do not read anything else in your workspace, and this data is used for nothing except running your helpdesk. Disconnecting the integration deletes the stored mappings. Security and storage We will never sell or share your information with any other companies or officials. All our products are compliant with US and EU privacy laws. None of your data is being used to train AI models or for data mining our anything else. Even our support team does not have access to your data, unless we have your permission. Your privacy and privacy of your clients is our top priority and we will take any reasonable measures to protect it. Our servers are hosted at the industry standard Amazon data center in North Virginia. We monitor the servers 24/7 to prevent attacks or downtimes. All information is being backed up to secure servers daily. We use SSL-only connections, which makes all connections and data transfers between your browser (or any other client) and our services encrypted. You retain all rights of ownership to the data you have stored on Jitbit Services and we will not share it with any third-parties or use this data to contact your clients. Access, export and deletion of your data You can request a copy of your personal data, have it corrected, transferred (exported) or deleted at any time - just email support@jitbit.com and we will handle it within 30 days (usually much faster). Helpdesk administrators can also export data and delete individual user records directly in the product, without contacting us at all. Data retention If you decide to cancel your account, we will keep your data for 2 months just in case you need it back. After that, everything is being deleted, even from backups. We keep your data only for as long as your account is active (plus the 2-month grace period above), and individual records are removed sooner if you ask us to - see the section above. We've analysed dozens of Reddit threads on r/sysadmin and here's what we've found: the people who run help desks for a living are not impressed. They aren't all hostile, though. Somewhere between "nobody wants this" and a vendor promising 90% deflection, a handful of admins have quietly got AI doing useful work. It just isn't the work the demos show. Sep 25 2026 • Alex Yumashev Best AI helpdesk solutions in 2026 Every helpdesk vendor now sells "AI". What they actually ship differs a lot. Some offer a chatbot that answers customers before a ticket exists. Some offer a copilot that drafts replies for agents. Others hand you a platform and a consultant's invoice. The pricing models differ too: per seat, per conversation, per "resolution", or a pool of credits that nobody on the buying committee fully understands. Aug 5 2026 • Alex Yumashev Jitbit Helpdesk Bot is now in the Microsoft Teams Store Our new Microsoft Teams app just passed Microsoft's certification and is live in the Teams Store: Jitbit Helpdesk Bot. Search "Jitbit" in the Teams app store and it's right there - no custom app uploads, no admin-center gymnastics. We use cookies (how?) Accept
