Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
ProGPT (operated by ZQ Labs, Inc., based in Silicon Valley, California, USA) is committed to strong and transparent privacy practices. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and manage information—including personal information—when you use any of our websites, mobile apps, Google Workspace add‑ons, or other services (“Services”).
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using our website, Google addons, mobile apps, and/or other services we provide, you agree to everything in this Privacy Policy and the processing of your data, including your personal information, in the manner provided in this Policy. If you don’t agree to this Privacy Policy and applicable User Agreements, please exit, and do not access or use, our products or Service. Please also note that the scope of this Policy is limited to information collected or received by us through your use of our services. We are not responsible for the actions of third party people or companies, the content of their sites, the use of information you provide to them, or any products or services they may offer. As used herein, the term “use” shall mean use, access, play, install, sign into, connect with, download, visit or browse our Sites or Products.
Information We Collect
Account data – your name, e‑mail address, phone number, and authentication token when you create an account, and prompts and responses you submit to our interface.
Usage data – log files, preferences, device information, and browsing activity to improve performance and functionality.
Purchase data – your plan, payment status and subscription dates (see “Payments and signing in” below).
Where your chats are stored
Free accounts: your chats are stored on your own device, in your browser. You can turn this off, or delete the chats on your device, from your account settings in the app.
Paid plans: by default, your chats and messages are also saved to your account in the cloud, so that they are available on all your devices. You can turn this off in your account settings, and new chats on that device will then stay on that device only. When you delete a chat in the app, its saved copy in your account is deleted too.
Attached files: a document you attach is read in your browser, and its text is sent to the AI model you chose to answer your request. We do not store the file itself on our servers.
Payments and signing in
Payments. Paid plans are processed by Stripe on the web, and by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) in our mobile apps. You enter your card details with the payment provider, not with us. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We receive limited information about your purchase, such as your email address, plan, payment status and subscription dates, so that we can activate and manage your plan. Stripe's handling of payment information is described in Stripe's privacy policy.
Signing in. You can create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google or Apple. If you use Google or Apple, we receive only basic profile information, such as your name and email address (Apple may let you hide your real email address). We do not receive your Google or Apple password. Sign-in is handled using Amazon Web Services (Amazon Cognito).
Use of Information
We use collected data to operate, maintain, and improve the Services, to personalise your experience, and to communicate with you.
Cookies, Local Storage and Analytics
Essential storage. We use your browser's local storage and IndexedDB to keep you signed in, remember your settings (such as your chosen AI model, theme and last-used tool) and store your chats on your device if you have a free account. The service needs these to work.
Advertising. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers, and we do not use your data to show you ads.
Analytics. We do not use third-party analytics on our website.
Your control. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage signs you out and removes anything stored on your device, including locally stored chats.
Information Sharing
We send your messages and the related content (for example, files you attach) to the third-party AI providers whose models you choose, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI (Kimi) and MiniMax, so that they can generate responses. ProGPT does not use your data to train AI models.
Third-party AI providers generally do not use API inputs and outputs to train their models by default. However, each provider maintains its own data-processing and retention policies, and retention periods may vary by provider, endpoint and feature. For example, some providers keep API data for a limited period for abuse monitoring. We do not control these policies and cannot guarantee how long a provider keeps data. Please review each provider's current policy:
OpenAI: data controls and retention
Anthropic: privacy policy and commercial terms
Google: Gemini API terms
xAI: privacy policy
DeepSeek: privacy policy
Moonshot AI (Kimi): privacy policy
MiniMax: privacy policy
We may share your information with third-party service providers, such as our cloud hosting provider or content creation service, for the purposes of providing, maintaining and improving our service.
We will not share or disclose your information to any other third party, unless we are required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a law enforcement or government agency, or as otherwise necessary to protect our rights or interests.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information (such as health information, government ID numbers, financial account numbers or passwords) or confidential information about other people in your messages or files. Your content is sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses.
Google Workspace Add-ons and Browser Extensions
Our Google Workspace add-ons (for example, the Slides translator) and browser extensions let you send content you choose, such as the text of selected slides or spreadsheet cells, to the AI models or translation engines you select. Each add-on has its own Google Workspace Marketplace listing and its own privacy policy, which describes what that add-on stores and for how long. That policy applies in addition to this one.
Google API Services User Data Policy. ProGPT's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the add-on.
We do not transfer Google user data to others, except as needed to provide those features (for example, sending your content to the AI engine you choose), to comply with law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
We do not allow humans to read Google user data, unless you give consent, it is needed for security or to comply with the law, or it is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Security
We value your trust in using our service, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. We use appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your information;
restrict or object to certain processing;
receive your information in a portable format;
withdraw consent where we rely on consent; and
complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents. Under California law you can ask what personal information we collect and why, and ask us to delete or correct it. You will not be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How to use these rights. Email contact@aiworksuite.com from the email address linked to your account. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days (or within the period the law allows). If you are an authorized agent, tell us in your request.
Limits. Content that was sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response is subject to that provider's own retention policy (see “Information Sharing”). We may not be able to delete it from their systems, and we may need to keep some information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Why we process your data (EEA and UK users). We process your information to provide the service you asked for (contract), to keep it secure and improve it (our legitimate interests), where you have given consent, and to meet legal obligations.
Where Your Data Is Processed
We are based in the United States. Our hosting and account systems run on Amazon Web Services in the United States. The third-party AI providers you choose process your content in the United States and possibly other countries. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers where the law requires them.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and you must be at least 16 to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance where appropriate, for example by email or in the app. By continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated policy.
