terms Terms of Service Last updated: July 2026 01Acceptance of Terms By using Zipdoc, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. 02Description of Service Zipdoc is a free, browser-based tool for opening, extracting, creating, and converting ZIP files, with optional accounts for saving files to Google Drive and creating secure share links. Most processing happens locally in your browser rather than on our servers. 03Acceptable Use You agree not to use Zipdoc to: Share or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes on someone else's rights Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to Zipdoc's systems Use the share-link feature to distribute content you don't have the right to share We reserve the right to remove shared content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. 04File Sharing Limits The Share Files tool has the following limits, which may change over time: Maximum 10MB total per share link Shared files are automatically deleted 7 days after upload We don't guarantee shared files will remain available for the full 7 days — treat sharing as temporary, not as backup or long-term storage 05Accounts Creating an account is optional and is only needed for features like Google Drive saving and managing your share links. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity under your account. 06Your Files, Your Rights Zipdoc doesn't claim any ownership over the files you process or share through the service. Files you unzip, create, or convert stay yours — we don't retain copies of files processed locally in your browser. 07Service "As Is" Zipdoc is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep the tool reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. 08Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zipdoc and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or files. 09Advertising & Third-Party Services Zipdoc is supported by advertising through Google AdSense and uses Google Analytics, Firebase, and the Google Drive API to power certain features. Your use of those integrations is also subject to Google's own terms and policies. 10Changes to These Terms We may update these terms as Zipdoc evolves. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. 11Contact Us Questions about these terms? Reach out at [email protected] or visit our Contact page.
