Skip to main content This Privacy Policy describes how Fugo Ltd(“Fugo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data, and your rights in relation to that data. We collect, use, and are responsible for certain personal data about you as a data controller. When we do so, we are subject to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal data processed by customers through the Fugo platform, where Fugo acts as a data processor. That processing is governed by the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available at https://trust.fugo.ai. 1. Personal Data We Collect Information you provide to us We collect personal data you provide directly, including: name, email address, and contact details company and account information registration and account setup information communications, feedback, and support requests billing and transaction information Information collected automatically We and our service providers may collect: IP address and device information browser type and operating system usage data and interaction with the platform access times and navigation activity This information may be collected using cookies and similar technologies. Information from third parties We may receive personal data from: business partners and resellers marketing providers publicly available sources Content data Content uploaded to the platform may contain personal data. Fugo processes this data only on behalf of customers and in accordance with the Data Processing Agreement (DPA). 3. How and Why We Use Personal Data We use personal data for the following purposes: to provide and operate the Services to manage accounts and subscriptions to provide customer support to communicate with you about the Services to improve and develop the platform to ensure security and prevent misuse to comply with legal obligations 4. Legal Basis for Processing We rely on the following legal bases: Contract - to provide the Services Legitimate interests - to operate, secure, and improve the Services Legal obligations - to comply with applicable laws Consent - for marketing communications where required Where we rely on legitimate interests, we ensure those interests are balanced against your rights. 5. How We Share Personal Data We may share personal data with: Service providers Hosting, analytics, support tools, payment processors, and infrastructure providers who assist in delivering the Services. Affiliates Companies within the Fugo group where applicable. Professional advisors Lawyers, auditors, insurers, and other advisors. Legal and regulatory authorities Where required by law or to protect our rights. Business transfers In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales. All third parties are subject to appropriate data protection obligations. 6. International Data Transfers Fugo primarily processes data within the UK and EEA. Where personal data is transferred outside these regions, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms 7. Data Retention We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to: provide the Services comply with legal obligations resolve disputes and enforce agreements Backup data is retained for up to 60 days for recovery purposes. Where Fugo acts as a processor, retention is determined by the customer and governed by the DPA. 8. Security We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including: encryption in transit and at rest role-based access controls and authentication monitoring and logging of system activity vulnerability management and regular testing However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay. Where required by law, we will also notify the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. 9. Where Fugo acts as a processor, requests should be directed to the relevant customer.
