Infrastructure Security Fibery uses a reliable physical infrastructure and runs on a secure network that's built around data security to ensure that your information remains private, secure, and available. Our servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services platform. The physical servers are located in AWS’s EC2 data centers. Data Encryption All Fibery web application communications are encrypted with Transport Level Security (TLS). We score an ‘A+’ rating on Qualys SSL Labs‘ tests. All data for Fibery is encrypted at rest. Backups & Monitoring We use AWS RDS’ backup solution for datastores that contain customer data. On an application level, we store logs for all activity through Elasticsearch. Organizational security & Confidentiality All Fibery employees receive ongoing training in information security, data privacy, and password security. All employee and contractor agreements include a confidentiality clause. Product Security & Access Our user management features help you control the platform's access and stay secure. Permissions Collaborator permissions can be managed at the workspace level or at the group level (for teams on the Pro plan). These permissions allow you to control who you share a workspace or space with and whether they can modify the shared workspaces or spaces. Learn more SAML SSO Fibery supports SAML-based Single Sign On (SSO) for teams on the Pro Plan. IP Whitelisting Fibery can be configured to only allow access from designated IP address ranges. These restrictions can be applied to all users. Questions & Answers Why is Fibery blocking access to workspaces from certain regions? The U.S. government has introduced new restrictions that prohibit access to certain software products and services for individuals located in specific regions, including Russia. As a U.S. company, Fibery is required to comply with these regulations by blocking access from these regions. Which regions will be affected by these access restrictions? Starting on September 9, 2024, Fibery will block access to all workspaces from the following regions: Russia Belarus Cuba Iran North Korea Crimea Sudan Syria What will happen to users located in these regions? Users located in the aforementioned regions will no longer be able to access any Fibery workspace. All associated services and functionalities within the platform will be inaccessible. Will publicly shared spaces and forms be affected? No, publicly shared spaces and forms within your workspace will remain accessible, even from the restricted regions. However, direct access to the workspaces themselves from these regions will be blocked. Will users be banned or flagged if they are connected to these regions? No, users will not be banned or flagged as being connected to these regions. They will still be able to access your workspace from other locations without any issues. What should I do if I’m outside these regions but can’t access Fibery?
