Data Automatically Collected
Usage Data and Site Activity
We automatically collect information in connection with the actions you take on our Sites. We refer to this type of information as ("Usage Data"). Usage Data may include information about your device, browser, operating system and version, IP address, and internet service provider. It may also include information about your interactions with the Sites such as the pages you view, the page and search terms used to reach our, the date, time, and duration of your visit, and the number of clicks to, from, and within our Sites, and the duration of your visits to our Sites. If we can reasonably associate this data with you, we treat it as Personal Information under the categories of Identifiers or Internet or other electronic network information, as appropriate. If we cannot reasonably associate this information with you, we treat it as anonymous Usage Data.
IP Addresses, Cookies, & Similar Tracking Technologies. We automatically collect information in connection with the actions you take on our Sites. We refer to this type of information as ("Usage Data"). Platform vendors use technologies such as cookies (i.e., small pieces of data stored on your device's hard drive by your browser), web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies to automatically collect internet protocol addresses assigned to the computers and other devices you use, your internet service provider, device ID number, approximate geographic location, browser type, Site and Platform pages visited, websites you access before and after visiting the Site or Platform, and data related to how and when you use the Site or Platform (e.g., user journey, date and time stamps, clickstream data, and data about search terms and websites that direct you to the Site). We may combine this information with Personal Information and data obtained from third parties.
Communication Recordings
We may record calls and retain the content of written and electronic communications between you and us. By communicating with us, you consent to our recording and retention of communications.
Session Recording Software
We may use session recording software on the Site(s) and on customer websites that use our analytics SDK. This software can record visitors' use, interaction, and engagement with a page, including mouse and keyboard inputs, mobile gestures, and browser output. We use this software to help us and our customers optimize visitor experience. Session recording does not run until you Accept cookies (or the site owner has chosen the exposed "no banner" setting). You may withdraw that choice at any time via Manage preferences on our Cookie Policy page.
Analytics. We use first-party DropCowboy page views and click/scroll events to operate, bill, and improve the service. Hosted-site unique visit billing is measured from CDN (CloudFront) access logs, not from the JavaScript SDK. Device fingerprinting (including FingerprintJS) runs only after you Accept, except where a site owner has selected the exposed "no banner" setting.
The DropCowboy v1 application (app.dropcowboy.com and related legacy dashboard surfaces) uses Google Analytics via the angular-google-analytics library. Google Analytics is not currently loaded as a marketing gtag on www.dropcowboy.com. Google sets and reads cookies to collect usage data on the v1 application; you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To learn more about how Google uses data, visit Google's Privacy Policy and Google's page on "How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps".
Drop Cowboy web chat. We use Drop Cowboy web chat to provide customer support chat on dropcowboy.com. The Drop Cowboy web chat widget loads after you Accept cookies, or if you click Live Chat (which opens Drop Cowboy web chat only and does not grant fingerprinting, session replay, or Google Analytics). Drop Cowboy web chat is first-party.
If we can reasonably associate this data with you, we treat it as Personal Information under the categories of Identifiers or Internet or other electronic network information, as appropriate. If we cannot reasonably associate this information with you, we treat it as anonymous Usage Data.
If you want to reduce the overall volume of targeted advertising you receive, you can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) Consumer Choice Page and/or the Network Advertising Initiative Consumer Opt-Out Page. These websites allow you to opt-out of targeted advertising from member networks.
Online Behavioral Advertising. We may use advertising networks and services provided by third-party vendors. These services collect data about your interactions with the Site and other websites across the internet and use such data to target personal content and advertisements for goods and services. The data collected may be associated with your Personal Information. The targeted content and advertisements may appear on the Site and on other websites and may be sent to you via email. Advertising networks often gather data about consumers who view advertisements to make inferences about a consumer's interests and preferences, which enables the delivery of advertisements directly targeted to the consumer's specific interests. This practice is often referred to as "online behavioral advertising."
For example, we use Google Ads to serve ads on our behalf across the internet and on the Site. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to collect data about your visits to the Site and your interaction with our services to generate targeted advertisements to you on other websites that you visit across the internet. To opt out of remarketing advertising provided through Google, to customize your ad preferences, or to limit Google's collection or use of such data, visit Google's Safety Center and Google's Ad Settings and follow Google's personalized ad opt-out instructions . Opting out will not affect your use of the Site.
To change your preferences with respect to certain online ads and to obtain more information about third- party ad networks and online behavioral advertising, visit the National Advertising Initiative Consumer opt-out page or the Digital Advertising Alliance Self-Regulatory Program . Changing your settings with individual browsers or ad networks will not necessarily carry over to other browsers or ad networks. As a result, depending on the opt-outs you request, you may occasionally still see our ads.
Social Media. We are active on social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram ("Social Media"). The Site allows you to connect and share data with Social Media. These features may require us to use cookies, plug-ins, and APIs provided by such Social Media to facilitate those communications and features. Anything you post on Social Media is public information and will not be treated confidentially. We may post (or re-post) on the Site and our Social Media pages any comments or content that you post on our Social Media pages.
Your use of Social Media is governed by the privacy policies and terms of the third parties that own and operate those websites and not by this Policy. We encourage you to review those policies and terms.
The Site may use advertising networks and services offered by Social Media to deliver advertising content. Use of these services requires Social Media to implement cookies or pixel tags to deliver ads to you while you access the Site.
Surveys
From time to time we, or service providers retained by us, may request Personal Information from you via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether to disclose Personal Information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and address) and product usage and preferences.
Data from Other Sources. We obtain data about individuals from various third-party companies and public sources, which includes information resulting from third party checks to conduct user verification and detect fraud. We may combine that data with Personal Information. This enhances our existing data about our users and customers (e.g., adding address data), improves our marketing efforts, and allows us to reduce fraud and misuse of the Platform.
How We Use & Share Personal Information
Beyond the uses and sharing described above, Drop Cowboy and its vendors may use and share Personal Information as described below. We do not sell or rent Personal Information except as stated in this Policy and as permitted by applicable law.
Purpose Collected & Communication with You. We use and share Personal Information for the purpose for which it was collected. For example, if you contact us for support or assistance, we may use Personal Information to contact you and assist you with your request. We may use Personal Information to notify you of Site changes (e.g., changes to our Terms of Use or this Policy), and if you opt in, to send you marketing communications.
Site and Services. We use information in order to provide you with access to our Site(s) and services, to improve the Site(s) and Services, to enhance your experience with the Site(s) and Services, and to manage your relationship with us and provide you with customer support.
Call Delivery & Detection Systems. Delivering calls and ringless voicemail requires our platform to analyze call-progress audio in real time — for example, detecting ringing, busy signals, voicemail greetings, and answering-machine beeps. We use call-progress audio and call outcome data to calibrate, maintain, and improve the accuracy of these detection systems. This data is used for platform operation and quality improvement only; it is not used to train large language models or generative AI, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for their own use. Where you use optional AI voice features (such as voice cloning and premium text-to-speech), your voice recordings and message scripts are processed by a third-party AI provider acting as our data processor, subject to contractual purpose limitation; this content is not sold or shared for any other use.
Affiliates. We maintain a number of website affiliate arrangements and referral sources, which require us to share Personal Information back to the affiliate or referral source for purposes of paying commissions and verifying other activity related to the website affiliate or referral relationship. In addition, Drop Cowboy has a number of corporate affiliates, including parents, subsidiaries and sister companies, many of which may provide goods and services for which we think you may be interested. We may share your Personal Information among our corporate affiliates for purposes of providing support and other services to Drop Cowboy and to allow those corporate affiliates to send you marketing and other information to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Vendors & Other Partners. We may share Personal Information with our third-party vendors, service providers, suppliers, consultants, agents, sales representatives, resellers, and other partners (including Site and Platform management and hosting, marketing and public relations, and email services) that provide data processing services to us (e.g., to support the delivery of, provide functionality on, or help to enhance the security of the Site or Platform), lead scoring services, payment processing, fraud detection services, or otherwise process Personal Information for purposes described in this Policy or communicated to you when we collect such data. The parties described in this paragraph are authorized and may use and disclose Personal Information as needed to provide the applicable services to us and as provided by their own privacy policies.
Deidentified and Aggregated Data. We may deidentify or aggregate personal information such that we can no longer reasonably associate it with an identifiable person. We may use and disclose deidentified and aggregate data for any business purpose permitted by applicable law.
Fraud Detection. We share your Personal Information with third party vendors to help reduce fraud, conduct identity verification, and detect suspicious activity on our Site and Platform. Results we receive from such services may be combined with your Personal Information and may be used to deny you an account or terminate your account.
Security & Protection of Rights. We may use Personal Information and share it with third parties if we believe it is needed to operate the Site or to protect our rights or the rights of others, including sharing data needed to identify, contact, or bring legal action if our contracts, terms, or policies are violated or if required by law.
Business Transactions. If we undergo a change or contemplated change in control, acquisition, merger, reorganization, or asset sale, all Personal Information may be transferred, sold, shared, or otherwise shared with potential and actual successors, which will be bound by this Policy as it applies to Personal Information.
With Your Consent. With your consent, we may use or share Personal Information in ways not specifically described in this Policy.
Sales. We do not sell, rent, or loan any of your Personal Information to any third party for money. Regardless, you may notify us at our designated request address below to opt-out of monetary sale of your information. Our designated request address for such requests is at info@dropcowboy.com .
Sharing for Marketing. Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83, if you are a California resident, you have the right to obtain: (a) a list of all third parties to whom we may have disclosed your Personal Information within the past year for direct marketing purposes, and (b) a description of the categories of Personal Information disclosed, by contacting us per the "Contact Us" Section below.
Data We Do Not Intend to Collect
Special Categories of Personal Information. "Special Data" is any data that reveals your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, or that involves genetic or biometric data or data concerning health or sexual orientation. If a parent or legal guardian learns their child provided us with Personal Information without his or her consent, please contact us.

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to help secure all Personal Information against loss, misuse, and alteration. While we cannot guarantee it, we use industry-standard protections to help safeguard against such occurrences. If a breach of our systems occurs, we will notify you of the breach only if and as required under applicable law.
YOU UNDERSTAND THAT NO DATA TRANSMISSION OVER THE INTERNET OR A MOBILE DEVICE CAN BE GUARANTEED TO BE 100% SECURE. WHILE WE STRIVE TO PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION AND YOU PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION AT YOUR OWN RISK.
