Privacy Policy PRIVACY Updated Effective Date: September 22, 2026 PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT PhoneValidator.com (“us,” “we,” or “Company”) provides phone number validation services for business customers. We handle submitted phone numbers, contact and billing information, and technical data as described in this Policy. Whether particular information constitutes personal data depends on the information and applicable law. Free searches do not require an account. Paid batches collect the contact details needed for verification, updates and billing, and retain uploaded files and results as described below. Validation checks the phone number; it does not identify the person who owns it. For international users, including those in the European Union (EU) or United Kingdom (UK), we note that IP addresses and certain cookie identifiers may be considered personal data under the GDPR/UK GDPR in some contexts (e.g., when they can be used to indirectly identify a person). However, we process such data solely for legitimate purposes such as site functionality, security (including abuse detection and prevention of scraping), basic analytics, and service improvement, and we do not link it to identifiable individuals or use it for profiling, marketing, or other purposes that would require additional consent under GDPR. We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR/UK GDPR) as the legal basis for this limited processing where applicable, as it is necessary for our core operations and proportionate given the minimal privacy impact. No consent is required for these essential non-personalized uses. We do not offer goods or services specifically targeted to individuals in the EU/UK, nor do we monitor behavior for commercial purposes beyond what is strictly necessary for the Site's operation. 1. INTRODUCTION Batch processing. For paid batch services, we process uploaded phone numbers on the payer’s behalf to provide the requested validation. Batch files may contain personal data. We store uploaded files and results securely for up to 30 days after completion for your convenience, unless you request deletion sooner. Routine processing is automated; we do not sell or repurpose the contents of your batch files. We retain the contact, payment and consent records necessary to provide the service and meet billing and legal obligations. Limited access may be necessary for customer support, security or legal requirements. 1.1. PURPOSE OF POLICY. This Policy explains how PhoneValidator.com handles information submitted to https://www.phonevalidator.com (the “Site”), including business batch files, contact and billing information, and technical information used to operate and secure the service. 1.2. NOTICE CONCERNING CHILDREN. This Site is not targeted towards children under the age of 13 nor intended to be used by them in any manner whatsoever. Similarly, it is not directed at or intended for children under 16 (or the applicable age under GDPR/UK GDPR) in the EU/UK. 2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES 2.1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE. We receive the phone numbers submitted for validation. Customers may also provide names, email addresses and billing details for service access, verification, customer support and payment. Batch files and results can contain personal data and are subject to the batch retention and deletion practices described above. A. Search Information. We use submitted phone numbers to provide validation results. The service does not identify the person who owns a number. B. Contact Inquiries. If you contact us via email, any information provided (e.g., name, email) is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored for marketing or other purposes beyond that interaction. C. Modification or Removal. Customers can request deletion of completed batch files from the batch results page. For other information requests, including privacy rights requests, contact us as described below. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where required for billing or legal obligations. D. Do Not Track Signals. We do not honor browser Do Not Track signals. E. Third-Party Tracking. Third parties such as Google, Facebook, and others may track activity via cookies or similar technologies for analytics and advertising. We do not provide batch file contents to advertising or analytics providers. You can manage cookie preferences or use tools like Privacy Badger to limit tracking. For EU/UK users: Where third-party cookies involve personal data (e.g., identifiers), their use may require consent under the ePrivacy Directive/PECR; we recommend reviewing their policies and adjusting browser settings accordingly. F. California Eraser Law. We do not allow user-generated content, so this does not apply. 2.2 NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT A. AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers automatically collect IP addresses and use cookies for all visitors. This information is technical/non-personal in our usage and collected for site operation, security (e.g., detecting abuse or scraping), analytics, and improving services. We track aggregate anonymous usage data, such as pages visited and session duration, but do not link this to individuals. For GDPR/UK GDPR purposes, to the extent IP addresses or cookie IDs qualify as personal data, processing is limited to legitimate interests (e.g., preventing fraud/abuse, ensuring Site security and functionality) and is not used for unrelated purposes. B. Website Analytics. We use Fathom Analytics on public marketing, documentation, sign-in, sign-up and free search results pages to measure website usage without analytics cookies. It sends standard UTM campaign labels, but excludes other URL query parameters, fragments and lookup content. Essential first-party cookies may still support site functionality and security. C. Financial Information. Purchases redirect to third-party processors; we do not collect financial details. D. Search Logs. We may store anonymized search logs including IP addresses and queried phone numbers solely for abuse prevention, service improvement, and compliance. For paid customers, logs may include account identifiers (e.g., email) for billing and support. Phone numbers are not retained in identifiable form or repurposed. We do not sell or repurpose submitted phone numbers. Information is provided to validation service providers only as needed for the requested service. Batch file contents are not used for service improvement or marketing. 3. USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION 3.1. WHAT WE DO WITH COLLECTED INFORMATION A. Limited Sharing. We provide information to service providers as needed to operate the requested service, subject to the purposes and restrictions described below. B. Technical and Aggregate Information. We use technical information and aggregate usage information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Site and our services. We may use a cookie or similar technical identifier to distinguish a browser or device and associate related activity, including free searches, for these purposes. We do not use this information to determine an anonymous visitor's real-world identity or to build profiles for unrelated purposes. C. Service Providers. We may provide limited account, transaction, or technical information to vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as phone-number validation, hosting, payment processing, analytics, security, customer support, and email delivery. Batch file contents are not provided to analytics providers. These providers may use the information only as needed to provide their services to us or as required by law. D. Legal and Safety Disclosures. We may disclose limited account or technical information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our customers, users of the Site, or others; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce our Terms and Conditions. We may disclose information, including submitted phone numbers, when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process. Outside providing the requested validation service and these legal requirements, we do not disclose submitted phone numbers to third parties. E. Business Transfers. If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of its business or assets, information associated with the affected business may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law. Submitted phone numbers will not be included in such a transfer unless disclosure is legally required. F. Submitted Phone Numbers. We do not sell, rent, or repurpose phone numbers submitted for validation. Batch file contents are used to provide the requested service, with limited access where necessary for support, security or legal requirements. They are not used for marketing or service improvement. Other search records and technical data are subject to the limited security, abuse-prevention and compliance purposes described in this Policy. 4. SECURITY 4.1. SECURITY MEASURES. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information handled by the Site against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Registered customers are responsible for protecting their account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. 5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND WEBSITES 5.1. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES. The Site may link to websites and services operated by third parties. We do not control their privacy or security practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. Please review their policies before providing information to them. 5.2. WEBSITE ANALYTICS. Fathom Analytics provides aggregate usage measurement for public pages. Fathom receives technical request information, including IP addresses, to process that measurement under its privacy policy (Fathom privacy policy). Our integration does not use analytics cookies or send lookup content, account information, payment information, URL query parameters other than standard UTM campaign labels, or fragments. 6. DATA RETENTION 6.1. RETENTION. We retain account, transaction, technical, and search-log information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the services, maintaining security, preventing abuse, resolving disputes, meeting legal and accounting obligations, and enforcing our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is maintained. 7. PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES 7.1. REQUESTS. Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights concerning personal data we maintain about you, such as limited account or contact information. These rights may include requesting access, correction, or deletion. Because anonymous phone-number searches are not associated with an identified individual, we may be unable to identify search data relating to a particular person. To request that we block searches for your phone number, use our Privacy Request form. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests concerning information we hold, contact us using the method below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. 8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY 8.1. UPDATES. We may update this Policy to reflect changes to our services, practices, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. 9. CONTACT INFORMATION 9.1. CONTACTING US. If you have questions about this Policy or our privacy practices, or wish to submit a privacy request, please contact us using the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the Site.
