Privacy Policy The privacy policy of Mida A/B testing platform Your privacy is important to us. At Mida, we are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any information we may collect from you across our website, https://www.mida.so, and other sites we own and operate. Information Collection and Use We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we're collecting it and how it will be used. Data Storage and Transfer Mida takes the privacy and security of your data very seriously. To provide our services, we store and process your data on servers hosted by Google Cloud Platform (GCP), located in the United States or Germany, depending on service configuration and availability. GCP is compliant with GDPR and other international data protection regulations, ensuring that your data is securely handled and protected. By using our services, you consent to the storage and processing of your data in the United States or Germany. We take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. For users located in the European Union, please note that when data is stored or processed outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), it may be subject to different data protection standards. Mida commits to implementing appropriate safeguards to protect your data, including entering into Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, where required. For contractual processing terms, see our Data Processing Agreement (DPA). Data Retention We retain collected information only for as long as necessary to provide the requested services and to comply with applicable legal obligations. For account information, we maintain the data for as long as the account remains active or as required by law. For users on the free plan, experiment data and related results are retained and accessible for up to 60 days from the conclusion of the experiment. After this period, such data is permanently deleted from our production systems. For users on paid plans, experiment data is retained for up to 24 months after the conclusion of the test, unless otherwise requested by the client. In limited cases, we may retain aggregated and fully anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual, solely for statistical analysis and service improvement purposes. Once the applicable retention period ends, or upon user request, personal data is securely deleted using commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to prevent recovery, unauthorized access, or further processing. Disclosure of Personal Information We don't share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required by law. Bot Protection We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our sign-up and other forms from automated abuse. Turnstile runs silently in the background. You are not asked to solve a puzzle or tick a box, and in most cases you will not see anything at all. To tell real visitors apart from bots, Turnstile processes a limited set of technical signals from your browser: your IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, and the site key of the form you are using together with its origin. Cloudflare processes these signals on our behalf to protect our forms, and separately as its own controller to improve its bot detection. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum. External Links Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies. Your Rights You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services. You have the right to request access to and to request correction of your personal data that are being processed by Mida.
