Personal data collected in the EU/UK may be transferred to the United States and processed by CX Labs LLC. We implement standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or rely on other lawful mechanisms to ensure your data remains protected.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use a small number of third-party tags to understand how the site is used and which campaigns bring people here. A consent banner appears on your first visit.
Before you choose. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics load with Google Consent Mode set to “denied”. In that state they set no cookies and store nothing on your device; they send anonymised, cookieless signals that Google uses only for aggregate measurement and modelling. Nothing else loads.
If you accept. Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymisation) and Google Ads conversion measurement may set cookies, including advertising cookies used to attribute your visit to the campaign that brought you here. The Metricool site tracker, the Salesforce Data Cloud web beacon and the Apollo website visitor tracker then also load.
If you decline. Nothing is stored beyond the choice itself, and the site works exactly the same.
Remembering your choice. Your answer is kept for up to one year in a first-party cookie named cxlabs-consent (and in your browser’s local storage), shared with our scan service at openctiscan.cxlabs.co so you are not asked twice. That cookie carries nothing but the consent signal and is strictly necessary. To change your mind, clear the cookies and site data for cxlabs.co in your browser and the banner will appear again.
Forms. Our contact and download forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam. It loads only on pages that carry a form and is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
9. Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above and post the changes here.
11. Open CTI Retirement Scan
If you run the Open CTI Retirement Scan at openctiscan.cxlabs.co, the following also applies.
What is read. With your authorisation the scan reads your Salesforce org’s configuration, code and record counts through the Salesforce APIs, using the scope “Manage user data via APIs” only. It does not read Task subjects or descriptions, names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other record content. The source of your custom Apex, Lightning and Visualforce code and text static resources is read to look for Open CTI calls; only component names and match counts are kept.
Access. The access token is held in memory for one scan and revoked the moment the scan ends. No refresh token is requested. Your Salesforce administrator can also end access at any time from Setup, Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
Where it runs. The scan runs on CX Labs infrastructure in Microsoft Azure (UK South).
What we keep. Your name, work email and company are recorded as an enquiry in the CX Labs CRM together with the report (PDF), the scan data file and a draft migration plan, so that we can follow up with you. The results page and its download links work for 15 minutes after the scan finishes; the report copies on the scan service are then deleted. The scan data file is kept on the service for up to 30 days for support, then deleted.
Our role. CX Labs acts as processor of the configuration data solely to produce the report and the follow-up.
Analytics. Analytics and advertising tags on the scan pages load only after you accept the cookie banner.
