Who we are
Absolute Payment Solutions Ltd ("APS", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 11424003, and with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZA762741.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, email [email protected] or write to us at Business Centre @ The Deep, David Gemmell Way, Hull, HU1 4BG, United Kingdom.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your full name, company name, email address, phone number, area of interest and message.
When you visit the website, our hosting and content delivery providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against abuse. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
How we use it
We use your enquiry details to respond to you and, where you ask us to, to take steps towards providing our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and Article 6(1)(b)).
We use technical data to operate and secure the website, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping it available and protected (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under contract:
Microsoft, which provides our email and cloud hosting services;
Cloudflare, which delivers the website and protects it against attacks;
Google, which serves the fonts used on this website and receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
If you choose to book a call through our booking page, the details you enter (your name, email address and the time you choose) are processed by Microsoft Bookings, part of the Microsoft services above.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or by appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the enquiry leads to a business relationship, in which case our customer records retention applies. Technical data is kept by our providers for short periods for security purposes.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising. Our content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies (such as __cf_bm) to distinguish people from automated traffic. These cookies are essential to the security of the website and do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Our information security management system is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
