Privacy Policy
How Mosaic Research Management collects, uses, and protects your information — including how we handle mobile phone numbers and text-message consent.
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mosaic Research Management ("Mosaic," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about experts, advisors, clients, and visitors ("you") in connection with our website at mosaicrm.com, our expert network, and related services (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or providing us your information, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the Services, including:
Contact and identity information — your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile or landline telephone number.
Professional information — your employment history, areas of expertise, biography, publicly available profile links, and information relevant to matching you with research projects.
Engagement information — your availability, consulting rate, scheduling details, compliance-screener responses, and records of consultations.
Communications — emails, text messages, and call records exchanged with us.
Website usage — device, browser, and basic analytics data collected automatically when you visit our website.
We source some professional information from public sources (for example, online searches, news articles, and public professional profiles) when identifying experts who may be a fit for a research project.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
Identify and match you to relevant consulting and research opportunities;
Contact you about project invitations, reminders, vetting, and scheduling;
Arrange, conduct, and pay for consultations;
Operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations; and
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
3. Text messages (SMS) and mobile information
If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Mosaic about consulting project invitations, reminders, availability, and interview scheduling. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of joining the network or of any purchase.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in / consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information you provide is used solely by Mosaic to communicate with you about the Services as described in this Policy.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers — vendors who process information on our behalf (for example, communications, scheduling, payment, and hosting providers) under obligations of confidentiality and only as needed to provide the Services. As noted above, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Clients — with your involvement in a consultation, limited professional information necessary to arrange and conduct the engagement. Consultations are conducted subject to Mosaic's compliance standards.
Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mosaic, our users, or others.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small amount of cookies and standard analytics to understand site usage and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
6. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain our expert network, meet legal and regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
