Yesterday evening brought a longer period of elevated activity than in recent days, but the pipeline worked through it steadily, and queues have remained low since shortly before midnight UTC. Upcoming Maintenance: Solana Data Storage Optimization On October 20, between 14:00 and 22:00 UTC (16:00–00:00 CEST), we are tentatively planning to roll out an optimization to how Solana transaction data is stored. This change is designed to speed up transfer processing. What this means for Monitor users: Your historical checks and new Solana transfers will remain fully available. Updates (rechecks) of some historical transfers may be unavailable for up to 8 hours. To build paths from the source or destination of funds in a transfer, you will need to update the transfer first. This update will be free of charge. A scheduled maintenance notice will follow as soon as the date is confirmed. Summary (October 8–9) October 8 (Afternoon): Queue activity stayed low, with only minor, routine movement. October 8 (Evening): Starting around 15:20 UTC, transaction volume rose in two waves. The first peaked at approximately 15:40 UTC and eased by around 18:00 UTC; the second peaked at roughly 19:45 UTC and cleared by about 21:50 UTC. During this window, some screening results may have taken slightly longer than usual, although queue levels remained well below those seen during the late-September incidents. October 9 (So Far): Overnight and early-morning processing has been steady, with only small, brief fluctuations. Key Customer Takeaways Data Integrity: No data has been lost; all transactions and webhook events were held safely in the queue and processed in order. Current Impact: None at the moment. Solana is operating as expected, and other supported blockchains are unaffected. Long-Term Fix: The storage optimization scheduled for October 20 aims to improve Solana transfer processing speed (see Upcoming Maintenance above). We remain focused on monitoring Solana performance around the clock and will continue to share updates ahead of the maintenance window.
