Skip to content Legal Privacy Policy How we handle your data. Last updated: 5 October 2026 We take the protection of your data seriously. This policy informs you about what data we collect, how we use it and what rights you have. We do this in accordance with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. Responsible entity Siempi AG, Gartenstrasse 6, 6300 Zug, Switzerland. What data we collect First, data you actively send us: via the contact form your name, company, email address and message; when booking an appointment, also your preferred time. Second, data that arises technically when you visit: server logs with browser type, IP address and timestamp. If you use the contact form or the booking, our bot protection adds its verification data (see “Protection against abuse”). To keep anyone from overloading our forms, our server remembers your IP address for ten minutes. What we use your data for Solely to answer your enquiry, hold appointments, operate our website and protect it against abuse, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising. How long we keep data Your enquiry stays in our mailbox for as long as we need it to respond and handle follow-up questions. On request, we will delete it sooner. Server logs are deleted automatically after 30 days, as are the delivery logs and message content held by our email provider. The IP address used for overload protection expires after ten minutes. Booked appointments remain as calendar entries until we delete them. Protection against abuse Our contact form and appointment booking are protected against automated requests by Cloudflare Turnstile. As soon as you use either form (for the booking: as soon as you pick a slot), your browser loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare receives your IP address, details about your browser and technical characteristics of your connection, and uses them to check whether the request comes from a human. Turnstile does not set tracking or advertising cookies. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., USA. As long as you use neither form, no bot protection is loaded. If you would rather avoid it, write to us directly at info@siempi.ch. Turnstile privacy Cloudflare privacy policy Appointment booking When you book an appointment through our website, we process the data you provide (name, email address and a short note on your project, optionally your company) in order to hold the appointment. You first receive an email with a confirmation link; the calendar entry is only created once you click it. For this we use Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.; processing in the USA is possible). You can cancel the appointment at any time via the link in the confirmation email. Reviews We display Google reviews on our website. Our server retrieves them through the Google Places API, not your browser, so Google learns nothing about your visit. Google's privacy policy and terms of service apply in addition. Google privacy policy Google terms of service Cookies and analytics This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics services. We only store one technical cookie that remembers whether you prefer the light or dark appearance. Fonts are served from our own server. We process only the data needed to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. Data sharing and transfers abroad We only share data with service providers who are contractually bound to confidentiality: Hosting: Google (Firebase App Hosting), servers in the Netherlands. Email delivery: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA). Sending is routed via Ireland; message content and delivery logs are, however, stored in the USA. Bot protection: Cloudflare, Inc., USA. Calendar: Google Ireland Ltd., with possible processing in the USA. Data therefore reaches the Netherlands, Ireland and the USA. For transfers to the USA we rely on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for Cloudflare and Google, and on standard contractual clauses for Resend. We do not sell data.
