A Sub-Processor is a third-party data processor (or one of FTI Technology affiliates) engaged by FTI Technology to assist in providing services to our clients. FTI Technology engages two different types of Sub-Processors when we are not leveraging one of our affiliates as a processor: material and ancillary.
Material. These Sub-Processors provide technologies and/or services used to deliver specific FTI technology services, such as infrastructure and compute services.
Ancillary. These Sub-Processors provide ancillary services to help support, deliver, operate, and maintain our services. These suppliers process Personal Data for specific FTI Technology services, such as internal business purposes, system data, cyber security, customer service and cybersecurity logging., etc.
If personal data originating from the EEA or the U.K. is transferred to FTI Technology, FTI Technology relies upon the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF), and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), EEA Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the U.K.’s International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) to the SCCs as the transfer mechanism(s) to provide an appropriate safeguard for the transfer. If client personal data originating from the EEA or the U.K. is transferred between FTI Technology and FTI Technology affiliates or transferred by FTI Technology to third-party Sub-Processors, FTI Technology enters into SCCs with those parties or confirms those parties are certified under the EU-U.S. DPF, UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, or Swiss-U.S. DPF as applicable.
FTI Technology will publish any updates or changes to our Sub-Processors below. Existing clients are invited to obtain notification of any intended Sub-Processor changes by subscribing to the following:
