Databricks
Databricks is used as a business intelligence and analytics platform to support internal data analysis, reporting, and operational insights. The platform enables our team to process, analyze, and visualize data for decision-making purposes, including aggregations, trend analysis, and internal performance monitoring. Databricks is not used as a primary datastore or system of record for any production applications or customer-facing platforms. We do not store or process sensitive customer data (authentication data, or regulated data) within Databricks. Any data used within the platform is either non-sensitive, anonymized, aggregated, or otherwise appropriately sanitized prior to ingestion. Access to Databricks is restricted to authorized personnel and governed by internal access controls. The platform is used strictly for internal analytics workflows and does not serve as part of our core product infrastructure.

Fivetran
Fivetran is used as a managed data integration and ETL (extract, transform, load) service to replicate data from source systems (such as HubSpot, Intercom, and selected production databases) into our analytics environment within Databricks. The service automates data pipelines, ensuring reliable and consistent data synchronization for internal reporting and analysis. As part of the data ingestion process, we intentionally limit the scope of data transferred through Fivetran. Sensitive fields and tables (including personally identifiable information, authentication data, and other regulated or confidential data) are excluded, filtered, or removed prior to or during ingestion. This ensures that only data necessary for analytics purposes is replicated. Fivetran is not used as a system of record or long-term datastore, but strictly as a data pipeline tool to facilitate internal analytics workflows. Access to Fivetran is restricted to authorized personnel and controlled through role-based access and authentication mechanisms.
